Mission Statement

The Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association (TCTLA) is a non profit organization of Tarrant County Personal Injury Lawyers, who are dedicated to protecting the 7th amendment. 

The TCTLA utilizes all of its resources to ensure the legal rights of individuals and families in their community are protected. TCTLA strives to ensure that everyday citizens have a strong voice in the public process while providing its members with access to the latest information and resources to support their advocacy efforts.

Membership is open to lawyers whose primary focus is representing members of the general public. Attorneys who regularly represent insurance companies or large corporations are not eligible to join. This is to make sure the TCTLA follows its values of representing the common individual. 

The TCTLA is committed to working with lawyers in Tarrant County, to ensure their members are equiped to defend their client's rights

The Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association offers numerous benefits to its members, which assists them in their legal endeavors. These benefits include:

Events and News: TCTLA members can participate in TCTLA Events, which allow Tarrant County Trial Lawyers to collaborate and support each other. The TCTLA also keeps members up to date with news relating to Trial Law in Texas. 

Resources: TCTLA members gain access to the Tarrant County Resources Index, as well as other legal resources for Trial Lawyers such as Jury Info and Local Focus Groups.

Advocacy: TCTLA actively engages with the Texas Legislature to advocate for the rights of Texas families, opposing tort reform groups that seek to limit legal protections.

Networking: Membership fosters a collaborative environment among plaintiff lawyers, providing opportunities to connect and share insights with peers.
